The Full Story
Welcome to North Central Event Productions! We're Peter and Jennifer McGreck, the proud owners of this Wausau, Wisconsin-based event production company. We're passionate about creating memorable experiences and bringing people together for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds.
Our journey to North Central Event Productions began with our own wedding in October 2020. That special day sparked the idea for our first venture, EPic Event Booths, a photo booth business that Peter initially envisioned as a side hustle. However, its popularity quickly exceeded our expectations. Then, in December 2023, an exciting opportunity arose: to acquire the long-standing Signs of Love Wedding Show. With a growing passion for event planning and a desire to expand our reach, we decided to take the leap and establish North Central Event Productions, now producing several distinct events throughout the year.
Peter brings a unique blend of skills to our team. When he's not behind the camera, you'll find him on the road as a linehaul driver, transporting hazardous materials across the state. His background also includes years of experience managing and working in bars and restaurants, providing him with invaluable insights into the hospitality industry.
Jennifer's expertise lies in hospitality and tourism. With a career spanning roles as a General Manager in restaurants, hotels, and banquet halls, coupled with her extensive experience as a group travel specialist, she thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of event planning. She truly loves the thrill of managing organized chaos.
When we manage to carve out some free time, we cherish moments spent with family, including Jennifer's two children and her beloved grandchildren. We also share a passion for travel, always eager to explore new destinations and create lasting memories.
